Word Web Power
Struggling for the right word, and the online thesaurus isn’t helping?  Try Visual Thesaurus by Think Map.  Type in a word and a virtual word web pops up.  On the side, a color coded bar defines each word as a noun, adjective, verb or adverb.  Some words provide voice pronunciation. 

Click on a definition and word relations pop up.  Select one web word, and other word choices emerge.  Settings can be adjusted to change font size, color and advance word choice. The online subscription offers word searches in four different languages, word lists, educator resources, word-of-the-day, and various writer support topics.
