AutoCAD 2012 for Mac
Posted by RustyHill - 12/02/12 at 06:02 pmAutoCAD 2012 was built from the ground up for OS X Lion and takes full advantage of the performance improvements available to applications written for Lion. If you’re running Lion, this is the biggest reason to upgrade.
The other enhancements provide efficiency improvements. Depending on your workflow, the efficiencies provided in AutoCAD 2012 may alone be worth the upgrade. Examples of these improvements include:
- Auto-complete on the command line and dynamic input;
- Content palette – drag and drop blocks from a library or the current drawing;
- Group layer button – helps manage layers; new visors – hatch options, layout, and externally referenced drawings;
- Export to PDF; and
- Drawing enhancements.
The video below illustrates these enhancements.
